shows that the PS3 isnt selling well, most other console manufacturers are bringing out better specced versions of there console, sony is having to de spec it to get sales.
the trouble is, the price is only one reason why the ps3 isnt selling great, there are other reasons too

I think i'd buy one for 250 - 300 though even if it is the 40 gb model....pretty sure you'd be able to upgrade it somehow......
And also as said a 300 quid blu ray player that plays ps3 games (gta4  )would be pretty ace

20GB is enough for me tbh. I have about 6GB left and i've not deleted anything.

20gig is enough anyway, its all my 360 has and its plenty, although when hd movie downloads come to the uk it may be a different story.
on a side note, why does it cost so much for a harddrive in a console, i meen you can get 500gig sata 2 drives for £60 for a pc why so expensive in a console.

The on your own thing is what made me a bit aprehensive about getting one. Then I saw that Mario Party 8 was one of the games and it made my mind up
