1.6 as it fit's properly

i'll be using my 1.2 on mine, as it's more than up to the job for a daily driver

even if i dont have aircon?

Sorry - i dont understand how the radiator works IE Bigger or more capacity etc etc

the radiator from a1.6 model with aircon is bigger (wider) than a 1.6 without aircon. i THINK you can then use a mk3 astra gsi top coolant hose

I have the hose's, They are either off a 1.5td or the calibra - going into a 1.5td rad.

I need to pick up a rad tomorrow as mine is leaking.

should the pipes fitanyway?

who ever told you to use the diesel rad is talking out their arse , outlets are in the wrong place on the diesel rads ...

so revert back to a 1.6 Rad, and buy new pipes?

apart from the MK3 suggestion above - any one know any other pipes that work? would 1.6 pipes work?

1.6 pipe from header tank to rad, 1.6 pipe from rad to coolant galery (pass. side) 1.0 12v top hose (iirc)

1600 rad used it on the xe and the let never had a problem. it fits its not a bodge and it works

What about a stelrad twin core maybe a 500x600DP & a nice chrome low running thermostat to keep it running just nice & cosy?
