what ecu type is the one that needs the transponder chip in the key and how many types is there i have heard of the "HD" and "PJ" type could anyone please give me some infomation

cheers for the reply beardy so the hd ecu is the one that needs the transponder ? is there anyway around this ? also if the ecu is running evo software does this eliminate the transponder chip being needed
