different rolling roads. some give realistic figures, others over read. put it this way, SBD built many c20xe's and they will admit that 250 is a very difficuly figure to hit without 8500rpm, solid lifters, steel bottom end, huge cams etc....

Must be fitting nitrous too then!
Sorry mate, but like Dave says some RR's overread for fun!
You would need a seriuos spec for 230, let alone 250!! You are on standard pistons!!!???

if you lot wanna bitch about the car and its current out put then please do it else where. if the rollers overread drastically on my car on the day, then why was everyone elses cars bang on the money? surely they'll over read for all of the cars, not just one car?

Not trying to bitch James, its just that getting 230 bhp from an XE at less than 7000rpm without NOS or forced induction hasnt been done before, not even by SBD with 290 degree cams etc...
to get 230 they needed extensive headwork, 8250 rpm, solid lifters, large valve conversion, forged pistons, steel conrods, dry sump.........
so how its managing to get 230 at 6700 with mild cams is a mystery! seeing 180-190 with mild cams is good going.

would offer that no problem at all
not trying to get at you, its just I think you should get it all mapped and get some real figures from the car before quoting them in a 'for sale' thread. if it sells as it is and the new owner goes away and only gets 200 bhp on his local 'proper' dyno I think they will feel a bit cheated.

i'll prob take it back to jamsport. there computer messed up which is why its not finished on the mapping atm so im not going to pay again to get it mapped when its through no fault of my own.
the cams are definatly the Q42H as that is whats stamped on the end of the camshafts
