Tempted to buy one of these as a next car, either in black or silver and would like a 1.4. Inside look quite good. Anyone had one / drove one / know about them?

nice motor steve, they have effectivly got the same engine as the clio willaims (20 16v) and yea the back ends can be very slidey. Overall though good little car but deffo try and go for the 1.6 or bigger if you can afford it. And avoide yellow!

not mnie, mine was the direct injection IDE lump, it was only the phase one megane coupes that had the f7r lumps.
the later phase 2's had the F4R which is the same as the 172 but just detuned

Steve beacause you owned one doesnt make it a good car.
Steve you don't like any car unles its:
106 gti
Megane Coupe
Leon
Favia VRS
and why? Because you owned them it makes them good?
To be honest I dont know why you hang around a Corsa Forum when you don't even like them or anything Vauxhall.

you still havent old me why its shit?
i havent made out its an amazing car, iv even criticised its handling in the wet
but you get a lot of nice features for a small amount of cash.
again your making stuff up, i dont dislike all corsas, and i dont dislike anything all vauxhall, if you want an argument im quite willing to have one, but at leat come up with some decent points instead of the usual crap
