Going to replace most mechanical bits on my car, as its been sitting for 2 years, and I want it all in tip-top condition.
I have bought/going to get:
New brakes all round (Disks, pads, hoses, new copper brake hoses, connectors, shoes, rear master cylinders, handbrake cables)
New ball joints
New track rod ends
Anything else thats renewable?

Mmm, drums are fine, as are the bearings, but I might do them too.
Bushes, I cant be fucked doing
Topmounts, NO, after all the bloody trouble I had getting them off before to lower the bastard

wire brush and angle gringer for rust on the underside, then loads of waxoyl, stonechip and possibly the stuff which is exactly the same texture as factory underseal - cant remember the name though

Rubber components would be the things to replace.

Not on the Corsa, did my brother's Chevette with it. Wouldn't have said there was a lot in it tbh.
I like being able to blast this on with the compressor, which I didn't do with the Waxoyl...

When I put mine on the road, I renewed all the engine mounts and all the bolts etc holding the engine in and the suspension on etc.

Oh well, one less set of bushes to buy.
Might get one off a GSI though, make any difference handling wise?

just give it a full service, that will pip point anything that needs replacing. i dont see the point in unnecessarily replacing stuff on a corsa.
