right, when replacing my fuel pump is there going to be a gush of petrol?

Also, where are the fuel filters placed on an XE - also the regulator,


im replacing them all next week.

I know theres an inline filter just after/before the external pump at the back of the car but apparently theres a proper one in the bay?

Help appreciated as i dont want to fook me fuelling

never hered of one being in the engine bay.

the fuel pressure regulator valve is stuffed inbetween the top and bottom of the inlet manifold, just look where your throttle cable goes into the TB and its just to the left slightly

only a little bit of fuel will come out nothing to worry about

not heard of any other fuel filter other than the inline one, possible charcoal canister but not 100%

should i just stick with a vauxhall filter or go for a fancy one?

Pump im getting will either be a ticking pump(???) or standard.

I dont know a lot about fuel lines im afraid

fuel filter is a fuel filter imo you dont need anything fancy

hmm i thought that mine might of been in a cradle by the drivers side rear wheel?

well for now i'll just replace the fuel filter then....
I'l get the pump and regulator done at the rebuild saves me doing it!
