I can get hold of a later spec c20xe (with the coilpack) with anything else I need apart from the AFM for £225. Is this a good price and what else do i need from the donor car apart from the engine, gearbox, engine loom and ecu?

sounds like a reasonable price depending on the millage of the engine and considering that it hasnt gone porous,

as a guide, just get absolutely everything from the engine bay.

I don't know much about the engine but I've heard it running and sounds fine, low mileage and the car was scrapped by an old man that won a fair bit of money

you would be better just buying the whole car and running that TBH, they are a very underated car.

can be easily made to handle better than a corsa, and can be made to look very good too, and you would save a load of money

My drive is actually pretty big but as of late its been full of old cars which have now been scrapped. I thought it was you the other day. I would have followed but I was afriad of transit power . I was gona stop and talk to you if you were going to sedbergh but didnt fancy going to kirby lonsdale (if thats where you were going)

EDIT - O and my brake pads were low and as of last night there are nothing but metal so I had no spare pads left to have fun with your transit, but I now have my replacement dampers so I'll give your transit a run for its money next time
