My mates SXI sometimes does this, EML light comes on, idles at atround 1.5k, very irratically.

Im guessing ICV?

air flow meater id say could also be the IAC try just taking it out and cleaning it with carb cleaner

and if you know anything, the ICV is a sealed unit so cleaning it with carb cleaner will do nothing, even if you did manage to, it will just go wrong again

Just get down motorfactors and replace it, mine used to do it all the time

AFM's often throw up a Lambda sensor problem as well
