my younger brother bought a white corsa b van 1.4 ls yesterday and he checked the door looms and its got 9 pins in it. him being only 15 he wants to fit electric windows in it rather than the wind up ones, how much pins do you need to fit them

i thought it was only 9 for electric windows and 19 for electric windows and electric mirrors

no the mirrors and windows are on the same loom thing. well mine was anyway.
i had 9 looms, thers ways of getting around it without changing the whole loom

ok m8 so he'll not be able to fit electric windows at all unless he buys the full looms or a conversion aftermarket kit

yeh he will, its not hard, well i got a car electrition to do mine, he fitted it all! basically i bought the conv kit from a scrappy out of a corsa with electrics, then he used the parts and wired it in himself! its possible tho!!

SO HE COULD GET AN ELECTRIC WINDOW MOTORS AND LOOMS FROM THE SCRAPPY AND FIT THEM HIMSLEF WELL MY DAD BECAUSE HES GOOD WITH CAR ELECTRICS IS IT JUST PLUG AND PLAY (sorry about caps m8)

well you cant just plug them in and they will work, i dont know really how the leccy did it but it works!!!

when i fitted mine i didnt have any of the loom so i fitted the gsi door looms and ran my own power into the doors and spliced them into the loom, did the same with the earth and earthed on the speaker mounting screws.
not too difficult as long as youve got a haynes and can read wiring diagrams
