It's a bit of a strange one, a demo of a demo! Anyone else downloaded this from the Japanese PSN? I've just had a few races before I go to bed. From what I saw it's a pretty small demo, 1 track and the choice of about 6 cars to race, but it's a big big improvement over GT:HD in my opinion! Smoother handling and much better looking (only in 720p for me) and other cars to race on track! Obviously it's all in Japanese but it's pretty easy to work it out. Gonna have a better play after work tomorrow.

For those of you not fluent in Japanese who want to create a JP PSN account: http://www.japanesepsn.com/

Yep got it, runs 1080i/60 for me, feels allot smoother game and the cars handle and respond much better in my opinion.

Japanese one has loads of demos.

Problem is, I can't understand a word of it, and don't know which ones they are.

Yeah, need a JP account to download it.

Steve - GTHD was going to be the next installment of GT, not a rehash of GT4. They canned it though and are putting the work into GT5 instead.

Either way I was pretty dissappointed with GT:HD. It looked good but it didn't drive well I thought. But after this demo I'm looking forward to the new Prologue and GT5 again now.

I've just tried the GT:HD demo, was a bit crap to start with, but turn off the traction control and skid technology thingy and you can get some pretty good drifting in - especially in the 599

Not as good as GT3 and 4 though I'll agree

the demo they release though, was just gt4 in hd
