they want to charge me 80 quid because i have not taxed my MR2. Which is fine, apart from my MR2 is not my MR2 anymore. In fact its probably not even an MR2 anymore because i scrapped it about 2 years ago!
Fucking useless!, hopefully it will get sorted when i ring them on monday, im not holding out much hope though.

id be careful what you tell them down the phone because if it has not been legally scrapped and disposed of correctly then they may try sending you a £1500 bill

i had a similar thing, car was being broken up before being scrapped, they never sent me a reminder letter and when i phoned up to argue it they stated they didnt have to send me the letter, its just an extra. In the end i wrote to them and told them it was scrapped two years earlier and they said ok and that was the end of that
