I've owned a Astra Coupe Convertible and now have a LCR, the Leon feels a lot better built than the Astra. I'm not saying the Vauxhall was crap, just the SEAT felt better IMO.

I've had mine for over a year now and still love it. May not be the best out there but I prefer the looks of the Leon to the CTR, Megane etc. I've had a few problems with mine, they were all common problems across the Golf/Leon range like temp sender going, waterpump breaking but luckily for me they were all fixed under warranty.

They are lovely cars, mate has a grey one and it flies, my astra has more power but his feels quicker...

As for the better built thing sadly i dont agree id say they were par for the course.
Brakes are good apparently and it certainly looks the part.

Just a shame there are alot of other options that would save you £3k at least

Going to have to diagree with you here mate

Better than a GSI IMO

Arnie off here has one and it perfomred superb on our track day, they handle, plentifull tuners and they have very strong residuals.

Great cars tad pricey but get a good car for the money

Fact is I really like these cars.

What else would you buy for the money jambo?

Anyway insurance aint a prob for me on them.

I am thinking a 54 plate for 11k then a remap and i will leave it standard.

Im not digging at you, im merely stating my opinion and the fact that my only "argument" is that they are over priced for what they are. Not doubting its performance handling or anything. I just dont see how that justifies the extra £3k over its rivals etc

You can get 2yr old Astra VXR's for 13k. Which is a far newer car.

The fact is its a Seat which isnt any more glamorous than a vauxhall, ford, honda or renault it has brembo's yes, but that to me doesnt justify the extra wedge you put up to own one. Waste of money IN MY OPINION.
