Basically wanna reshell my engine into a clean tigra i have found for a really good price and use it as a run around, just wanted to know if i can basically swap the engine, suspension, exhaust, loom so i can have the corsa running with the 1.4/1.6 of the tigra?
i know they have the same chassis but i have a feeling that there was a few differences.
anybody know?

exhausts look the same too me, only difference is the back box
1.4 16v corsa:
1.4 16v Tigra:
only difference is the back box, dunno if that will be an issue though.

the back box from the tigra will be usuable, but its just a tight fit to the get the rubbers on. but it does go.

If they have the same part numbers then i would have thought the exhaust would be the same.
Also i read that you need to raise the bonnet slightly to clear the engine.

different hangers on the rear box, otherwise all will fit. any decent exhaust place will knock up and weld on some hangers for 10-20 quid.

not too worried about exhaust as that can be sorted with some shoe lace and papier mache, how bout engine mounts etc? corsa was originally a 1.2 8v now a 20XE.

use 1.2 mount on it, as the 16v type mount's wont fit..

for xe in tigra.. lower mount few mil or use a spacer like so

the tigra backbox will fit on a corsa ive done it the only difference was the square tail pipe and i think the tail pipe may of been a tad longer but fits straight on
