I asked about 12months ago and got the perfect answer and link to a download by someone...

I have since put a fresh windows on my pc and lost it




anyone either find the thread... (i did try)

or know a way of doing it?

why do you need to turn it off by the desktop?

for when im viewing tv in bed... which is about 12feet away... last thing I want to do is get up and turn the monitor off manually...

it puts the screen into standby

steve - probably because it saves him climbing out of bed to turn it all back on
