ive been offered a yellow 1.8 20v cupra with spax,stage 1,FMIC,Black wheels,LCR splitter,FSH,
He says it well maintained and in Immacutlate Condtion..its 2001
but its got 100k motorway miles..
wants 3300 for it..

100k isnt a lot for an engine. maybe for one made in 1972

vag engines can last the course as long as its been well serviced etc and you look after it it can last another 100thousand, but check on the gearbox and clutches.

Im getting mine as a 51 plate with 50k for 4 grand. So is the deal you are getting that great ?
Dont just buy it because it's come up.

yeah il think il leave it then and see what comes up..got 2 weeks to get a car...as im goin downsouth for a break and i aint using the van lol..
Ive seen 2 106 gti for 3k one white with 66k miles with leather ect and the yellow one with 54miles but he wants 3.5k for it...

were the hell from ive got 3500 cash now to spend on a car i want a cupra so bad its unreal...The only think puttin me off is the 100k ..

And yes, Cupra over GTi everytime. Better image IMO.

seems a good buy!
makes me chuckle when people add things like LCR splitter to the spec like that makes a difference lol
its like them people that put performance ht leads in there engine specs lolz

so 100k is really that bad...
I looked at the a3 and the golfs 20vt and for around 4k there up around 110-130k miles...
got 3500 to spend on a car and the gti is the last option if i cant find a cupra...
But gonna try and get 4k for a decent standish cupra
