i had a look through all the topics today on the egr valve because the eml has been coming on , on my corsa sport after 10 seconds of starting it ,i did the paper clip and read 1405 ebr valve , so after looking at a lot of post on here i think some said about blanking it off with a home made gasket,
well i did that and all the problems have gone , reason i ask is have many more of you done this and is it save to do

can you explain the paper clip method? is there a site explaining with pics? the guide on here doesnt show pics!
