Anyone know what material car fuel lines are made of and any details on it? Need to research and choose fuel lines for my engineering project which is a carburettor - tried wikipedia and all it says is a form of rubber

i just go to my local engineer shed thing near vauxhall and ask for a length of fuel line

ask in somewhere like uni parts automotive (used to be pratts i think), they'll know im pretty sure.
