what colour are the c20let injectors?and are the con rods from a c20xe the same in the let? cheers

yellow injectors and conrods are the same i think, only the pistons are low comp.

beige - early dizzy type
blue - late xe DIS pack type
yellow - let
red - let

red are from saab not vauxhall.

conrods are the same yes

nope i am bulding one from scratch.its cheaper to do it this way.rather than but a complete engine for say 1000 wich i dont know the history of.im building a fresh engine for less money.

ecu,loom,pistons,bearing,oil feed and returns,some sensors, anytihng else i should know?im buying a let block so i will use the better of the two.

afm is different, throttle body and throttle position sensor is different, tank vent valve isnt the same as an xe, its let specific. hot start valve in the top hat, cams are different (holy poo i have a set for sale).

its not a lot of difference really, but finding a tank vent valve apparantly is a pain. there is probably a fw other things ive totally forgotten about. i should know aswell as ive just stripped mine of all the std loom and sensors etc aswell.

i knew the afm was different.didnt know the throttle body,tps and tank vent valve were different.whats different about the throttle body and fuel tank vent valve?

tank vent valve is let specific apparantly. throws up fault code if you plug an xe one in. throttle body has vacuum for the map sensor in the ecu, and also where the large breather on an xe goes back to throttle body, this is blanked off as that pipe runs from rocker cover into the turbo inlet.

oh, you will need an amal valve aswell.

got and amel valve not that i know what it is or what it does.so the vacum pipe goes straight to the pipe on the ecu?how mcuh you want for the cams?and you got any other bits for sale?

only have a hot start valve, cams, about 40 quid id say for the pair.

ive got a top hat on the way don know if it has the valve in it though.40 for the cams and valve you mean?

just remembered, there is an inlet air temp sensor in the top hat also

ive got some yellow injectors and you should have said as iv got a top hat spare as well. u2u me
