for tv's, vcr's, stereos, etc

why are they so utterly useless!!

my tv remote has decided to stop working, swapped the batteries and all sorts just cant get it to work

Funnily enough, the same happened to me before watching top gear. Wouldnt work till i pulled the aerial out and plugged it in again, and it worked
