ive recently bought some gaz coilovers from Dave A, as well as gettin some cesaros cheap on ebay , i refurbed them and sprayed them white only using halfords paint and a little bit of laquer i used with a spray gun just because i ran out of the canned stuff really.
40mm gmax springs they are on the left. not too sure exactly how much the gaz spring lowers it. i asked for about 80mm.
so the cars lowered about 80mm fixed rear and about 50mm front. adjustable damping is fun, still need to play around with it a little but so far im . virtually no body roll at all.

damping works best set about 1.5-2 turns from the softest settings (front and rear)
how do you find the kit? initial thoughts?

lol ive got them set really hard atm because the front is fairly low the tyre rubs on the arch on the outside over big bumps so unless i higher it some more i cant make them much softer.
cant really fault the handling, vast vast improvement to what i had before, only potential problem is that the spring seat on the fronts are sitting really close to the inside of the tyre but so far hasnt caused any rubbing.

in person the wheels arnt to great, theres a few runs in the laquer (just like the big runs in my bonnet if u look closely in the pic lol) and when the garage were fitting the tyres the bastards scrached em up a fair bit and put weights on the oustide of the rim which look gash.

Looks good
Rear lights would look good changed, but leave it like that for shows and stuff. Then at shows, some nice chrome/black old style numberplates will look awesome.
