Dunno whether to do it or not, sell the rallye for probably 3.3k ish...

get a 2.0 corsa for 2k and have a 500 quid runabout for the winter, i can walk to work etc anyway so no biggy if the xe brakes ?

I just want raw power and although i havent spent much on the rallye, it doesnt give me much of a buzz.

Its probably a bad idea isnt it ?

Had mine 3 years and its never let me down really. The only things i've changed are the oil and filter and spark plugs, inner and outer cv boots.

silly idea..

a 2.0 corsa isnt 'raw power' its just a noisy rattly small hatch with an oversized engine.

Why sell a car for something 'inferior' - if you dont have to?!

Kat radiator can happen on any car its not really conversion related. and the brakes it would depend what went wrong with them?

hubs and joints will more than likely be conversion related

any car can have them, usually poorly converted cars.

i had my xe corsa over 25k miles, mine was quality, engine wise-no trouble at all. one thing with mine-i bought a cheaply fabricated gear linkage that broke loads. got an mtec one and it was ace

Generally a 306 is a superior car to a corsa

really?

Is the 306 Rallye one of the best handling hatches?
Was it produced with its engine, from the factory?

Read between those lines....

A corsa is a base model vauxhall.... its 'below' the 306 GM rival, thwe Astra....
