whats the difference between blu ray and HD? is it just that Bluray discs hold more info?

I think you're a bit confused mate. Blu-ray and HD-DVD are two new competing formats to replace DVDs, as they hold a lot more data (i.e. enough for High Definition films and audio). They both output HD video signals, as does the PS3, so yes, they will all work with the HD projector.

at the moment blu ray holds more info than hd although they have made a 50gb hd disc, some people even claim the hd codecs produce better quality pictures than blu ray

Do you remember saying that more space wasn't an advantage steve, and i'm sure something along the lines of they'll never fill the current space

to clarify who and what will win.
can you buy porn on hd dvd? no. can you buy porn on blu-ray? yes. this goes back to the betamax vs vhs, where the porn industry, probably biggest film industry in the world chose vhs and vhs won. same with laser discs and dvd's. porn chose dvd, so that won.
simple really.

if you researched your facts you would realised you could always buy porn on hd dvd, and it was indeed sony that banned porn on blu ray initially, iv heard they have back tracked on this since, they obviously realised it was a mistake
remind me, who made betamax again?
