as mentioned in my previous post im making my van a full custom show van(got the plans to anyway) and im going mental with these ideas been to my old work to see my old boss(good friend) about cutting the van in the sides to put in windows he said he could do it but would take a while, only reason im thinking of this is to put seats in the back with flip down monitors and ps2 or something of somesort, but anyone know the law of having rear seats in a van? thanks for any help. ian

plans for the back are, 3 seats(cant decide all buckets or normal or what, with 2 or 3 monitors with ps2 or something, also my old boss @ philsautos(great place for bodywork) said he can fit windows in the sides for me, then rest of the back boxed off for a mint sound system.

If you're using normal seats, get a car instead, it'll be easier and safer.

looked at that but its more or an adventure type thing doing up a van, plus the van is very cheap to run and very cheap on insurance considering im only 18 been driving since febuary its only 425quid and for another 1.2 im talking around 900 atleast!! now i pay 7quid a week or something daft like that a nova or 1.2 car is around 20quid a week so if i do the van can spend more on it as its cheaper to run

If you convert the van to have windows and rear seats, it will be classed as a diesel car (assuming it's a diesel) and will be more expensive.
