hey all just got an unbeatable offer on some alloys. they are 205/40 17's. im wanting to put them on my corsa but just wondered if it would affect the handling at all. has anyone had any experience with wheels this size causing handling problems?
Cheers
Matt

depends on your driving. if you push your car really hard then yes. if its just general mooching around not really apart from the heavier steering.

i do tend to drive with a heavy foot quite often. usually take the bends reasonably steady though. the roads round here are mega greasy unless they are bone dry. cheers anyhow.

no but was maybe planning on it. thought it might sit too high on 17's with standard ride height and look a bit pants.

if they are the right offset you wont have a problem lowering it 40mm maybe even 60
