had our xmas lunch yesterday.

Seeing as its coming up to xmas, im keeping the festiveness and good will and humour going by wearing my xmas hat still

Not one other person in the department is wearing one, or even got any kind of decorations up at all. I keep getting weird looks from the blokes (all IT "im cool im cool" types, who in fact, arn't at all as tehy are techies ), and the women keep giving the "awww at least someones keeping the xmas spirit"

What a miserable bunch of Grinchs. Scrooge would have had a field day here.

Cheer up you miserable mofos. Its coming up to xmas, time of time off work, drinking, socialising, relaxing, sharing, getting laid, eating lots, farting lots, lay ins, and presents...

Whats on earth is there to be miserable for?

It's only xmas dinner if it's at dinner time.

If he infact had it at lunchtime it would be a lunch.

Do you seriously call it xmas lunch though? (Im not taking the piss, although maybe I should be)

Doesn't sound right at all, even when I imagine saying it in a savvern accent

The fact that it's called xmas dinner does sway the argument even more towards the North being right....as usual
