Thanks for a good meet guys, better than any SC offering for quite a while
Good to see meet some old faces again! good to see new people too.
Food was nice, cheers to fad for the lift out in his car - I was impressed... and hope everyone enjoyed the 'gti experience'
Unfortunately on the way home, (I had a tigra off here behind me) I accelerated off a roundabout and some how popped a gear selector rod off (think i heard it bouncing along the road) oops ... so enjoyed driving home with only 3rd or 4th gear the whole way... was fun pulling away from lights in 3rd. Should be an easy, cheap fix though
The guy's in the Astra Gsi (can't remember your name) lol, I didn't give it my all (in that little blast on the a10) as I couldn't cog it down plus was a little worried it'd break another rod off. Save it for the pod
Anyway, good to see all, bring on the next one (Grasshopper? Brands Track day?)

twas a good meet, i got to know a few more people today. some amusing banter. it was bloody cold though, i still cant feel my feet. i was driving the tigra behind you mate, i was worried your windscreen might fly off and hit me lol, you could always fix your linkage with tape,

Nah I think I'll take two trips tomorrow, 1 to the garage who fitted my gearbox last week! I'd imagine it's their shoddy handy work that it wasn't fitted properly.
and then to the windscreen place, to see if they can re seal it.
Tape is the proper 'racer' way though

Good meet
Paul, we was all joking when you were in the final run with Mike that it'd be the last run
I'll create a thread in General Discussion for everyone to see our amazement, and pics to be posted.
12v got spanked on the way home was lovely and warm after it had been idling for nearly 45 mins, or what ever it was.

^^ to be honest, it was pretty slippy... and was quite scary as a passenger in fads too! (especially as he didn't have a LSD)...
Though didn't take any risks, well apart from when me and jr were trying to follow willay and fad and no idea where we were going! (lol @ me thinking willay was driving on the wrong side of the road and then realising it was a 1 way 2 lane road)
My car's solid tho, it'll go on for years! and survive plenty more track days.

nah just the rod has been detached I think - hence this hanging down
nothing bad. Could've fixed it on the road side, but I couldn't be arsed to be climbing about in the dark in the middle of no where.

"They're overtaking faaad!!! :lol' hehe... nah I was impressed with your 182, from what other people say about 182's... I think your one is a bit special, hence it made 190 ish bhp. Feels like it's got larier cams or something, but has had the map / raised limiter removed. Yours was pulling hard to limiter.
Cole, get one of your mates to sort me some cheap xbox live membership. please.
