After narrowing even more things down and speaking to numorous people it seemsas though it could be my problem to why im not getting a spark from my car.

i think theyre around 35. I paid 28 trade price for mine.

was just looking on ebay a place called vauxhallpartsuk to a siemens 1 for £28 i think,hope this helps,

mines still not back

i can drive it but all it does is cut out / take 10 mins to run properly when started anyway

edit - had no car for near 2 months now!!

My eml is on, I've flashed the code out and it's the crank sensor. Car still starts and runs perfect tho??????????

if car not running when u flash the codes up crank sensor code will appear!

if the car start's and run's i cant see it being the crank sensor...


& what bolton said, if you flash the fault codes off without car started you always get the cranksensor

The car doesnt run at all Ste.

Im getting power to the coil but nothing past it and after speaking to a few people including an electrical engineer seems like a new crank sensor should solve the problem

Well i could of done with that reply lastnight.

Ive got one now for 26 quid so all ive got to do is get my ass off this seat, into my van, drive to my mates (where my car died on me) and then fit the little badger.

And if it does start i can see me putting a window through, it'll be a rear quater one cus ive got spares
