tried adjusting it loads of times but it just doesn't sit right. Starting to think it's the bonnet that's knackered.

cheers, does the passenger light look ok? Just the drivers side light appears to have sunk?
They are brand new depos fitted so all the brackets are intact. Really wanna sort it out, but not sure how

Adjust those rubber bits down a bit, and then there is something wrong with that headlight.

both lights are bolted on and fit ok, but I can slide a finger between the bonnet and the top of the headlight on the drivers side 
Wonder if I am missing some kind of seating bracket?

Little white clips? They cost about 39p from Vaux and hold the headlights up!

looks more than just a clip to me...
bent panel behind the bumper?..
that headlights set very far back.
