i'm goint to be fitting a air/fuel ratio gauge to my car when it's built.just wondering do i need a seperate wide band o2 sensor or can i just wire it to my standard o2 sensor?cheers

You need a seperate sensor for the wideband. You can leave your standard one in place and weld another bung into the exhaust for the wideband.
Or you can take out the standard lambda and fit the wideband in its place and use a simulated output from the wideband controller (like the LC-1)

the 2 kits I would reccomend are the webber alpha ones and the innovate
used them both lots, both nearly as accurate as my dyno dynamics £3000 one.

im at home so I dont have prices sorry, the webber ones are the best price and do the job well. look on www.webcon.co.uk for prices.

Try ebay US mate.
There cheapest by far on there.
Dont forget that you need the wideband controller to go with the sensor.
The sensor alone is no use.

i use the innovate lc1. its a very good peice of kit. i also use the output from the controller for the motronic narrowband signal which it seems more than happy with although most people tend to say use a standed sensor aswell for some reason. ebay is the way to go. a kit will include all you need to get the sensor/gauge ect up and running
