My mate has just spent 4 hours with US customs.

Arrive at Dulles, they ask him if he packed his own bag.

The dickhead replys with 'No I let Bin Larden do it for me this time'

Needless to say they where not impressed and he got taken into a room and given a hard time as well as case emptied.

Guy I worked with tried something similar and didn't get in. Had to arrange a flight home. Cost him £1200 to see a bit of a the airport and a few immigration offices.

Are you over there now Jodi?

Lucky not to be arrested tbh. Wasn't there a story about a British woman getting arrested for that shortly after 9/11?

My mate was also nearly arrested for not having the appropriate paperwork to be there as a tourist. They wouldn't believe that she flew in as cabin crew but was positioning home. It's very strict.

I think four hours is very lucky indeed.

I think he was lucky that one of the customs officers saw the slighty funny side.

I have so much hassle every time I go back in and I have a visa.

Anyone see the Airport episode a few years ago where the guy told customs he had a gun in his violin case? He thought they'd find it funny seen as though he came from Chicago

Someone I know was once travelling through the Euro Tunnel. He said to everyone else in the car when they get out at the French end that he was going to intentionally act as "shifty" as possible so they all get anally searched...

It almost worked like a charm.

Instead they locked him in a room for 4 hours until he was able to have a shit in a bucket. They then let him go with no charge

He never did it again
