Where might a find somewhere to find a reasonably cheap flight to Australia? Possibly going to stay with a friend in Brisbane but need to scope out flight costs etc, any ideas? Any recommendations?

But try

Emirates
Malaysia Airlines
Etihad Airways

If you do 2 stops the price goes down quite a bit.
