Whilst trying to figure out why my car wont run i checked the oil again tonite and i put the dipstick upto my nose and i could smell petrol.

Piston ring died?

Compression test it, that will give you a fair indication!

Have you been sitting for ages cranking it over and over?

Could be the engines flooded, and fuels run down the bores into the sump......

Still doing that Kurt but bougt a cheap XE to put the engine is the wide arch beast but having a few teething problems
