Friend has a P reg 1.2 corsa at the moment

she is considering a new car, any ideas on what she could get for that kind of budget

Something a bit newer maybe 1.4 maximum id say

Maybe being the key word there!

Theres not alot of difference between a 1.4 & 1.6 engine N/A hatch whatever way you look at it! Cheaper roadtax? Nice!

Someone's never been 18/19 and looked at the difference in insurance between a 1.4 and 1.6 Sport

But seriously, with a budget of 1500 and want a newer car, you wont find alot thats much 'newer' to 1996/97 if you are after a nice car

fiesta st is 2.0

mk5 zetec s would be shitty for 1.5k, your looking at 2-2.5k for a decent one i'd say.
