Al Pacino in Scarface is 1 of the greatest heralded cinematic performances of all time, brilliant film and one i hadn't seen until couple years ago

Jambo not a chance mate gritty as and very good plot. Fair enough the naughtiness is the biggest attraction but there's tons of films like that. Scarface and goodfellas are streets ahead of anything of this nature.

Different cultures/people love this film for many reasons. And chavs basically like it because of the 'drugs' and the 'action', that's all.
From a film point of view, it helped define the gangster film and the way it was constructed even sees it considered as one of the director's comedies.
