hello people.
im having a few problems with my girlfriends 1.2spi 8v corsa b on a 1997 r-reg.
sometimes when u pull away from a junction the car will go and then bog down. there isnt much power to start with with this ending so you can understand how dangerous it is. its almost as if the engine dies. its an intermitant fault, normally happens when pulling away but also sometimes when ur driving along.
the car has now covered 102k miles. i gave it a full service at 100k (all the filters, plugs and even leads).
could the coil pack be at fault?
if anyone has any suggestions then please let me no as i dont want to let her drive it till its fixed as its dangerous

you checked all the hoses? my spi would bog down and cut out, found a split hose.
other than that maybe try a new coolant temp sensor i'd guess at.

mine used to do this but only after i put an aftermarket air filter on

Clean the rotor arm for the igntion. Mine would sometimes struggle to start and once started sounded like it was running on 3cyl's and nealry die.
Cleaned it with some emory paper and is fine now.

its one of the later engines with the DIS pack rather than the dizzy

checked the crank sensor and pulley etc?If 1.2s have em?!
