Im looking to view and possibly a arden blue sport.

Iv been told by the guy it has:

1.4 16v 71,000
Full electrics
Aircon
New cambelt/Waterpump
New disc + pads
New exhaust

But no service history though.

What do you think? Im really interested

So even thought there is no service history, the fact the cam belt is done and a full service sort of makes up for it?

Sounds good price! Ask if he has the reciepts for cambelt change etc!

As long as he has receipts for all the work/parts he has mentioned and the condition of the bodywork i would go for it. Offer him £900 and go from there

Yeah well i would start from about 900. I would want to see the proof the cambelt was done and service etc.

Any other things i should look for on the 14XE engine?

Well i'd check the coolant bottle for gunk and under the oil cap.

Any specific noises to listen out for when on test driving?
