In terms of fan base, stadium and league they are in I would say yes.

In terms of winning things I would say no.

as far as the fan base, then definitely. i consider them to be a big club when backed by the right manager

I would say that they're a big club in terms of intrastructure and tradition but they have been unrealistic for years about what they can achieve with the teams they've had.
