im getting a c20let with f28 box done next month, and i want to make the car lagit!
is there anyone on here that can give me some advise on how to go about this to re register me V5 to have a 2.0 engine insted of a 1.4 basicaly someone who has gone and re registered there car to give some advise would be great...
i have looked on the net and as far as i can see its saying i have to get the v5 of the engine going in and gearbox going in, get it sent away to the police and have them check it over, and then it will be re registered as a Q plait / Kit car.... this cant be right can it?
please help.....

Fill in the new engine number and cc.
Send it off.
And a new V5 should come back.
They sometimes ask for evidence tho.

Thats what ive done yeah.
Evidence to prove the engine number and cc.
Basically you have to get a garage/vehicle inspection company to check the engine details, and write them down on like headed paper. Which you then send to the dvla.
