Right, i have a 1.6 sport

It has recent front discs and pads, rear shoes, drums, wheel bearings.

I put a set of new handbrake cables on it this weekend.

I have changed the oil, oil filter, spark plugs.

I dont think it has a pollen filter and i will be using my panel filter for the air filter soon.

Any other things i should/could replace?

It had a new cambelt like 2 years ago i think, when i change this should i do waterpump thermostat etc at the same time?

Best to go on mileage when we're talking about cambelts. How many miles have you done since the last cambelt change?

No need to change the waterpump or stat unless showing signs that they need changing.

The car is a 99 T reg

it has done 80k miles

Cambelt inc guides replaced 30/08/05 at 65k miles

I've thought about flushing/replacing the coolant/brake fluid,

any other fluids to change?

What is the mileage/year on a corsa for replacement?

worth replacing Gearbox oil/PAS fluid?

You'll be wanting all the parts to be GM, especially a cambelt kit.

Again, don't go by the year on cambelts, milage is the important one. It only got changed 15k ago, so it's ok until it hits 100k I'd say.

I'd change the gearbox oil, and PAS fluid, yes.

This shit should be on a sticky or summat,


Cooling system with aircon approx 5.8 litres, so i guess like 2/3l of antifreeze will be ok?

Engine oil approx 3.25 litres

F10/13 Gearbox approx 1.6 litres
F15 Gearbox approx 1.8 litres
Power steering fluid reservoir approx 1 litre? is that the whole system or just where you top it up?

Anyone know how much Brake fluid?
