worked for 5mins
get insert sim on the screen, re-adjusted sim etc
stil same, managed to get it on main screen, kept saying "offline" and couldnt switch it back 
switch off and back on......insert sim, blinks then says sim reg failed 
switch off and wont switch back on, plug in charge, doesnt light up nor have the charge bar pop up.
fails to switch back on for a while, gets it working again.
now and then says insert sim or cant switch on now
phoning insurance again in the morn
meant to be a new one, had to wait longer as they were out of stalk!!!
also 4mysterious mp3's have appeared on the phone i havent got or heard of
rant over

How old is the sim card, maybe it's worn?
You SP should issue you a new sim for free.

ICY i had the same thing with my first N95, its just locked in that mode, just do *#7370#
the phone will restart and will be fine.

gona try get another coz of the marks on it.

theyre sendin out another prepaid envelope to send it bk
phone doesnt even switch on anymore, plug in charger and doesnt charge either
