No need for liquid cooling nowadays. Most stuff will run decently under air cooling.
Whats your budget fella?

Depends on your budget and what your prefrences are:
Intel / AMD etc.
I've always gone for AMD stuff over Intel, but if I was currently building a PC that might change!
www.ebuyer.co.uk
Price up all the components you would like and see if its within your budget!

was also thinking of micro atx as maplin do this funky little case: http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=221068&source=2001&doy=22m1
but is it a ballache sourcing a smaller board and using piggback cards etc?

That case requires a mATX power supply mate. You would take an age finding a cheap high end PSU.

Plus doubt you'd fit in a decent graphics card such as a 8800 GTS or Ultra

The managing director is an openly racist homophobe. He made alot of posts on his forum that were quite out of order and really lost them alot of business.
He is also a prick in general. If you question him on the forums or if you get shirty about a return, he just bans you.
I think the one that clinched it for alot of people was when he made a thread with the title "Why do Paki's Smell?"

yeh dont buy from overclockers complete bunch of incompatant monkeys work there
bought my pcs bits from there and vista wouldnt install took them 8 weeks if not longer to test it and come back saying that it had the wrong type of ram and there website was wrong. admittedly yes it works now and they sorted it out but took friggin long enough.
plus tbh i dont think they fixed the exact problem i think they just stuck in 2 x 1gb sticks of ram. to solve the problem not swap the broken bit.
Never again am i going there

I just bought my PC parts from them (Overclockers), no complaints from me. Ordered parts on phone, and my Dad collected them straight away.
