x16xe engine. When i dip the clutch or come to a stop the revs will dip or even sumtimes the car will cut out and yes the rev gauge is working but the speedo isn't could this be affecting it?

Yeah that always happens when the ECU doesnt get a speed signal, will be ok when you get your speedo sorted
