How easy are these to fit? Literally plug and play into the loom, or is cutting and soldering required?

You can see in the instructions that it tells you to splice into the wiring loom somewhere.

Also, that's for a Nova not a Corsa...

Pictures on the left definitely look like a Corsa though.

If splicing into the loom is involved, I'll give it a miss I think

All the pictures look like a Nova

Look on the bottom right for the wiring. Looks like it needs a relay and a splice into what's probably the brake light wire on the left side of the boot...

Enit, quit being a poof. Last time I wired a 3rd brake light up on a ford puka, I used two wire slicing/connector things and ran the cable up the boot!

Look on ebay for a universal one. Failing that, row of 12v red LEDS in the top of the rear screen? That could look quite cool!

Only thing that got me on to this was Fonz and his brake light in the spoiler. I want one and I wouldn't get a universal one, they look the shite.

http://www.tuning.co.uk/vauxshop/en-gb/dept_695.html

thats where i got mine from!!

although tbh i think flame red is one of the few colours, a Dean's is no exception that pulls of the spoilerless look very well!!

Do you know something - high level brake light was an optional extra on my insurance right! It added to the premium! I was like 'wtf?', if anything it should lower it because it makes the car safer imho.

Hence why I'd get that genuine Vaux one - "I didn't know it was an extra".

High level brake lights are just another thing to fail the MOT on. If it is fitted it needs to work I think.
