just fitted my system, but try as i mite, i cant get the tail pipe to come out straight, always comes out pointing to the left. has anyone ever seen one on a nova?


just need to know if they come out like that anyway

nope comes out at an angle and in order for it to be snug i have to hang the mid silencer a little lower than it should be.

i think the systems like an inch too long. oh well

When i send it off for engine work, i'll get the exhaust modded.

same with the sportex sits at an all on most nova's ive seen with them fitted

it has to hang low, as it's designed for a mk2 bumper, but has a mk1 bumper on it, which is lower

mk2 bumper is only as low as the swag line, above the bottom lip on mk1's

shouldn't be like that

try twisting the centerbox around, so the strenghening plate on tail pipe is underneath, that might make it comeout straight

ive tried everything but nothing changes it at all.....ive even had the centreboc upside down so it has no hanger and its still retarded.

maybe its just like that then......

think im going to cut an inch off the first mid section (without silencer) and see if that helps. but maybe it just sits like that :S

messed around and it now sits more flush with the bumper but still at an angle.

no1 will really notice it i dont think as its black..........

apparently the satin black systems are actually designed for mk1's which have slightly different placings on them.

There's nothing i can do about the positioning, oh well

the one i posted further is is a satin black tail pipe one, and that's for a mk2

The one I had was on a mk1 and came out at an angle. When I bought it, that was the only one they offered for the Nova.

What's the problem with it coming out at an angle? It doesn't catch anywhere does it?
