just leading on from my '50-50 insurance payout' thread

the front of my car (from the windscreen onwards) is all warped over to the right, is it fixable or is in the realms of unsafe?

also how much £££??

thanks.

cant do them now cos its dark, but i will get some up tommorow.

its not severly warped but like the bonnet aint sitting properly and the gaps between the doors and wings is very small, the right arch looks like its been flared.

in theory though, is it a write off?

probs safe to fix it (depends if the chassis leg is bent or not)

But consider if its actually worth it. Personally i wouldnt if its a bottom spec punto

not when there is a clear twist in the passenger chasis leg

if all that body work has been pushed over. its a safe bet the chasis leg is buggered if not both

only way to tell is to get it on a jig

If it takes more to repair the car than the cars worth so technically is probably a write off
