Thinking about getting rid ov my 1.2 8v and getting a 1.6 sport

















Manual, 80,000 miles, V registration. Blue metallic. Great specification including air conditioning, central door locking, sun roof, power steering, electric windows, privacy glass plus Spax adjustable dampers, Eibach springs, uprated brakes, braided hoses, Ashley sports exhaust, Speedline 16" alloys, sports steering wheel and more. Full service history, new MOT, spare keys, Experian Gold report.

what do you think is it worth it?

I think it is yes, plus with aircon and a sunroof its a rare model!

Also has the expensive 195/40/16 tyres on it, look much better!

My V reg 1.6 sport was £1995 in Nov last year. Seems a good price, as the speedline alloys aint cheap!

Them badgeless grills, I have had them and changed back to the standrad V grill as I can't seem to get them to fit properly. My standard V grill clips in no problem, but the aftermarket grills just don't clip in and pop out and looks crap up close.

Tried my hardest to get it to clip in

first thought where it looks a little high price...and get the bump strips back on...but thats good...check the insurance though matey and it all is good go for it if u cant afford the 1.6...might have a nice black 1.4 sport here for sale

Needs lowered 60mm and yes to a badgeless grill,never had a problem fitting mine and that car could be a winner,and also agree with putting the steering wheel back to original,but theyre just my opinions.Overall though it looks a clean car and I would go for it

I went from a 1.2 8v to a 1.4 16v and you certainly feel more safe overtaking things

the 1.6 sport isn't that quick, I used to feel safer overtaking in my old MR2 turbo

No, but I overtook in my old clio 1.4 8v RT and that was bad enough.
