It's a very professional decision IMO.

Becks isn't playing at the moment so doesn't deserve the call up. He'll get his 100th cap when the MLS starts again.

Now that i think about it, maybe it is the correct choice, suppose he' s not match fit and he has been assured that he will get another chance for his 100th cap

TBH though I bet he includes a load of shite in the sqaud and could of had Beckham atleast in that - he could of seen how fit he was then at the training camp.

if it was me i'd give him the cap as i think he deserves it. he will get it too i think. i'm happy that we have a manager that isn't affraid to stand up to the big names though.

Even if he didn't want him to play i'd still have thought becks wuda been in the squad. To help the younger players etc.

Disagree, perfect opportunity for capello to try new players and get to know what he has on offer.

im a big fan of beckham and always have been, but he cant have everything go his way hes choosen to play in the mls and distance himself from the national side, theres no doubt if he was playing the the prem or at least somewhere in europe he would have been called up

imo a better option for beckham would have been to go for a month or two loan somewhere in the prem (bolton, sunderland etc) for a few games to bring his fitness back up, instead of just training at arsenal

I'll reserve judgement until the squad is announced. As long as there are no league fringe squad players in the team, maybe fair enough.

Lennon's in the under 21s and Agbonlahor is left out would suggest he's in the full squad!
