Hey everyone,
I have a corsa b 1.0L 12 valve w reg. I want to know how i can fit a 1.6 8V engine from an astra mark 2 SR with a short ratio gearbox F16 short i think not 100% ..

What engine mounts will i need to put the engine in ... ive been told by a few people my corsa engine mounts will fit that engine as well ... is this rite ??

Its on webbers this engine so any further infomation about wireing and the whole convertion itself will be GREATFULLY appreciated as my enigne is playing up now so i just want it out !!

Might not be too simple with yours being a 3pot ecotec, wiring may be an issue iirc

u will need 1.4 or 1.6 mounts (8v or 16v) as the bottom ends are the same,

The power steering isent the problem as i can run a pigiback ECU to sort that or leave it off, but will the engine mounts be the same from other corsa's as this engine is not from a corsa and its older than the corsa engines .. ??

Would most likely drop straight into a type 1 corsa b but type 2 maybe different due to the mounts wiring etc

im confused with so many people telling me diffrent things, it will fit with my current engine mounts... others say ill need custom made ones :S

dont know where to turn with this, but i need HELP asap

get mounts of a 1.4 corsa, i have done the same with a nove gsi engine
