Hi guys, my Corsa b (1.2 16v) has a slight issue when im pulling away eg traffic lights at a junction etc.

i pull away fine then it hits a kind of flat spot where it holds back on power then suddenly kicks aback again and nearly gives me whiplash,lol

its a pain in the arse, does anyone have/had the same problem and how do i fix it???

Air flow meter.... common fault.

AH i see, are the AFMs the same on all corsa b's?

Only two engines have them and they are the same for both.

sweet as, i think thats the 1.0 8v and 1.2 16v i think, Anyone confirm that?

There is no 1.0 8v

The 1.0 is 12v (X10XE engine).

The two engines are X10XE and X12XE.

ohright cool, im going to be stupid here but as my corsa is a 1.2 im guessing mine is a X12XE engine yeah?
